Going Green is a week of coverage on CNN International about individuals working within their communities to improve the environment. Passionate about their causes, these everyday heroes take it upon themselves to make things better, and lead by example. Five self-authored reports come together in a half-hour show hosted by Nicki Shields.

The December episode will be based in Japan. Each month, a Judo World package will also air on CNN World Sport. Judo World goes to Japan, the home of judo. December’s half-hour is hosted by Rhiannon Jones from the Tokyo Grand Slam weekend. Competition coverage from the purpose-built Budokan stadium will be intercut with additional features about the sport.
